Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup honey pure, raw honey for authenticity
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon optional, for flavor
  • 2 tbsp water adjust for dough consistency

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, salt, and cinnamon.
  • Add the olive oil and honey to the dry ingredients. Mix well to form a sticky dough.
  • Gradually add water, a tablespoon at a time, until the dough comes together but isn’t too wet.
  • Divide the dough into small portions and roll each into a ball. Flatten them slightly into round cakes about 1/2 inch thick.
  • Place the cakes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the cakes are firm.
  • Allow to cool slightly, then serve warm or at room temperature.
