Overcoming Spiritual Warfare: Practical Steps Backed by Scripture
April 3, 2025If you’re a Christian content creator struggling with low views and feeling discouraged, or if you simply want to spread the gospel but worry about your reach, this message is for you. This week, God placed a powerful revelation on my heart that I want to share with you.
The Struggle of Low Engagement
One day, I received a message from another Christian content creator who felt called to spread the gospel. She was discouraged because her videos were getting under 100 views, while mine were reaching 400 to 1,000 views. Ironically, I, too, was feeling discouraged that same day because I saw other creators getting thousands or even millions of views.
This cycle of comparison is endless. No matter how many people we reach, there will always be someone reaching more. But God doesn’t measure success the way the world does.
The Biblical Revelation That Changed Everything
God led me to Matthew 25:14—the Parable of the Talents. In this parable, a master gives three servants different amounts of money (talents). One receives five, another two, and the last one talent. The first two invest their talents and multiply them, while the last servant, out of fear, hides his talent in the ground. The master is pleased with the first two but rebukes the last servant for doing nothing.
The Lesson for Christian Content Creators
This story isn’t just about money—it’s about using the gifts God has given us.
- God knows your abilities – The master gave different amounts because he knew each servant’s capacity. God knows exactly who you are, your strengths, weaknesses, and abilities. He has called YOU to this mission for a reason.
- Every reach matters – Whether your content reaches 10 people or 10 million, it is valuable in the eyes of God. There are people who can only be reached by you and your unique way of sharing the gospel.
- Obedience matters more than numbers – The last servant failed because he did nothing. God doesn’t require us to be the biggest or most popular—He asks us to be faithful with what He’s given us.
Why You Must Keep Going
Think about the last time you prayed for guidance and stumbled upon a Christian video that spoke directly to your heart. Imagine if that creator had decided not to post. God works through people—you are one of those people!
When you obey God’s call, you become an instrument for His work. Even if you only reach one person, that one soul is valuable to the kingdom of God.
Worldly Success vs. Kingdom Success
Yes, getting likes, views, and shares can feel validating, but at the end of the day, that’s worldly success. What truly matters is the impact you make for the kingdom of God. On Judgment Day, would you rather say, “I tried my best, Lord” or “I was too afraid, so I didn’t try”?
God doesn’t call the bold—He makes the called bold. Even if sharing the gospel feels outside your comfort zone, remember that He is with you every step of the way.
A Final Encouragement
God has entrusted you with a gift. If you steward it well, He may open even greater doors for you in the future. Don’t let discouragement stop you from fulfilling your purpose.
You were chosen for this. Your content matters. Keep going, keep trusting, and keep spreading the gospel.
Read Matthew 25:14, take this message to heart, and move forward boldly in faith. God bless you!
