A True Christian Should Leave You Feeling Loved — Not Less Than
July 2, 2025So many people think knowing God is difficult…
That it requires religion, perfection, or being “good enough.”
But here’s the truth:
It’s simple.
There are just three steps that open the door to God’s presence in your life.
✅ 1. Repent for Your Sins
We’re all sinners. We all fall short.
But repentance isn’t about shame — it’s about honesty.
Come to God as you are.
Tell Him where you’ve gone wrong.
Ask for forgiveness — and know He always gives it when your heart is sincere.
✅ 2. Believe in Jesus Christ
God sent His Son, Jesus, to die for your sins.
Believing in Him opens the door to a relationship with God.
And if you’re unsure or struggling to believe?
That’s okay.
You can start with this simple prayer:
“Jesus, if You’re real, show me. Reveal Yourself to me.”
God honors that kind of honesty.
✅ 3. Seek a Relationship with God
This is where it becomes real.
The Bible says:
“You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.” — Jeremiah 29:13
Just start praying.
Even if you don’t know what to say, just speak from your heart.
When God sees that you’re genuinely trying to know Him,
He will reveal Himself to you.
🕊️ It Might Not Be Instant — But It Will Happen
Sometimes we pray and expect an immediate answer.
But God doesn’t always show up instantly.
Why?
Because He’s watching to see if you’ll keep seeking Him —
Even when you feel nothing…
Even when it seems quiet.
But stay with it.
Keep praying.
Keep believing.
And God will show up.
🙌 Final Encouragement
You don’t need a perfect past.
You don’t need fancy prayers.
You just need a heart that says:
“God, I want to know You.”
Do these three things — repent, believe, and seek —
and God will make Himself known to you in a way that changes everything.
