If You Are the Black Sheep in Your Family, You Need to Hear This
April 3, 2025Faith Over Fear – Every single Christian needs to hear this, and I’m not saying that as clickbait—this is truly the most important thing I’ve learned in my years of following God. If you can remember this every day, everything will change. Your faith will change, the season you’re in will change, your mindset will change, and you will know that God is truly with you and that your blessings are coming.
But here’s the biggest lie the devil tells, and once you recognize it, everything shifts.
The Lie the Devil Wants You to Believe
The devil’s only power is to make you fear and doubt. That’s it. If you recognize this, you can stand firm in the truth that no weapon formed against you will prosper. The devil cannot derail God’s plans for your life.
From the moment you were saved by God, He began working to prepare everything for you. Nothing can stop the good work God has started in you. You are on track for the blessings God has planned for you, and nothing can interfere with that—not even the devil.
God’s Promises for You
The Bible tells us that God is faithful to complete the work He has started in us (Philippians 1:6). That means, from the moment you accepted Christ, God was at work preparing the way for you. Every detail of your life is in His hands, and nothing can derail His plans.
In Romans 8:28, it says that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. No matter what storm you may be facing, know that God is in control, and He’s working everything together for your good.
The Devil’s Tactics: Fear and Doubt
The devil’s only tactic is to create fear and doubt. He will set up circumstances that make you feel like things aren’t going to work out. He will cause distractions and storms in your life to make you question whether God’s promises are true. But the devil cannot harm you. His plans will not prosper.
It doesn’t matter what the devil tries to do; God is in control. Nothing will stop the blessings God has in store for you.
God’s Protection Over Your Life
You are under God’s protection, and nothing can touch you unless He allows it. Even in the midst of struggles, God allows these circumstances for your growth. He is giving you a chance to grow your faith, to stand in boldness, and to declare, no matter what the enemy throws at you, that God’s promises will come to pass.
Remember, the devil can only make you fear and doubt, but he has no power to change God’s plan for your life. You are His child, and He is with you.
Waiting for God’s Blessings
If you’re in a season of waiting, it’s easy to let fear and doubt creep in. But remember, the blessings are coming. The only reason they haven’t arrived yet is because it’s not the right time or you’re not ready yet. God is preparing you for what He has in store, and when the time is right, you will receive the blessings He has promised.
Sometimes, we have to wait for God to mold us into the person He has called us to be. He knows we need to be ready to receive His blessings and be equipped to handle them properly.
Rejoice in Every Circumstance
This is why the Bible tells us to rejoice in all circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18). No matter what you’re going through, God is at work. He’s preparing you, strengthening you, and bringing you closer to the blessings He has planned.
The devil can make you fear that things won’t work out, but you can stand firm in the truth that God is in control and that His plans will never fail.
Conclusion: Have Faith Over Fear
Today, I want you to know that you are under the protection of God. The devil has no power over you—his only tactic is to make you doubt and fear. But once you recognize that, you can stand firm in your faith, knowing that God has the victory.
God loves you. He’s with you, and He is working everything out for your good. The devil cannot change that. So, no matter what you’re facing today, remember this: God is in control, and it is all going to be okay.
Faith Over Fear
If you’re facing doubt or fear today, take a moment to stand firm in your faith. Declare God’s promises over your life and trust that He is working all things together for your good.
