Convince me there is a god, and I’ll join your Bible study
Hi there Darlene, I don’t currently run a Bible study although that is a great idea! You can’t convince someone God is real, my purpose here is not to “convince” anyone or force my beliefs on anyone. I am here to say that what the Bible says is true God reveals Himself to the people that seek Him. I am here to share my experience that you can actually know for sure God is real, the instructions for it are in the Bible. However it takes three things some people are not willing to do. Believe Jesus died for your sins, repent, and seek a genuine relationship with God and the genuine part is important. If you are wondering how you believe Jesus died for your sins when you don’t know if Jesus is real, then you ask Jesus to come into your life and show you who He is and how real He is. However once again this needs to be a genuine request, not a mocking or disrespectful request. Here’s the truth, some people will never know God, some people’s minds and hearts are closed to God and only God can open someone’s heart so it’s not the Christians mission to “convince” people. It’s only our duty to share the word of God and our testimony. It is then up to God whether that word falls on deaf ears or that persons heart is opened. I can assure you God, Jesus loves you very much and is waiting to come into your life. You have free will so He won’t turn up until you genuinely invite Him in and I pray you do. Bless you Darlene
