Genesis 28:18 – Early the next morning Jacob took the stone he had placed under his head and set it up as a pillar and poured oil on top of it.

Exodus 30:23-24 – “Take the following fine spices: 500 shekels of liquid myrrh, half as much (that is, 250 shekels) of fragrant cinnamon, 250 shekels of fragrant calamus, 500 shekels of cassia—all according to the sanctuary shekel—and a hin of olive oil.

Leviticus 8:12 – He poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head and anointed him to consecrate him.

1 Samuel 10:1 – Then Samuel took a flask of olive oil and poured it on Saul’s head and kissed him, saying, “Has not the Lord anointed you ruler over his inheritance?”

Psalm 23:5 – You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

Psalm 92:10 – You have exalted my horn like that of a wild ox; fine oils have been poured on me.

Isaiah 61:3 – and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.

Matthew 25:3-4 – The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them. The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps.

Mark 6:13 – They drove out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them.

Isaiah 10:27 – In that day their burden will be lifted from your shoulders, their yoke from your neck; the yoke will be broken because you have grown so fat.

Isaiah 55:1 – “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.”

Exodus 27:20 – “Command the Israelites to bring you clear oil of pressed olives for the light so that the lamps may be kept burning.

Exodus 30:31 – Say to the Israelites, ‘This is to be my sacred anointing oil for the generations to come.

Matthew 26:7 – A woman came to him with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, which she poured on his head as he was reclining at the table.

Mark 14:3 – While he was in Bethany, reclining at the table in the home of Simon the Leper, a woman came with an alabaster jar of very expensive perfume, made of pure nard. She broke the jar and poured the perfume on his head.

Luke 10:34 – He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him.

1 Chronicles 16:22 – “Do not touch my anointed ones; do my prophets no harm.”

Matthew 26:9 – This perfume could have been sold at a high price and the money given to the poor.”

Isaiah 53:10 – Yet it was the Lord’s will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the Lord makes his life an offering for sin, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in his hand.
